Article Withdrawal Policy
Authors may request the withdrawal of a submitted manuscript at any time before the final acceptance decision has been issued. Requests must be submitted in writing to the Editorial Office by the corresponding author, using the email address registered with the submission, and must clearly state the manuscript title, submission ID, and the reason for withdrawal. All co-authors must be copied on the request or provide written consent. The journal will acknowledge the request, and the withdrawal will be processed once the Editorial Office has confirmed it.
Withdrawal during or after peer review. Withdrawing a manuscript after it has entered peer review is strongly discouraged, as it wastes the time and effort of editors and reviewers. Authors who repeatedly withdraw manuscripts without a valid justification may be restricted from submitting to the journal in the future.
Withdrawal after final acceptance is not permitted. Once the final decision to accept a manuscript for publication has been communicated to the authors, the manuscript is considered committed to the journal. At this stage, the editorial, peer-review, and production resources of the journal have already been allocated, and the article is scheduled for publication. Authors are therefore not permitted to withdraw an accepted manuscript, and the journal reserves the right to proceed with its publication.
Fees and Refunds. If the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC), the fee is non-refundable in the event that the authors attempt to withdraw the manuscript after the final acceptance decision has been issued. Since withdrawal after acceptance is not permitted under this policy, and the journal’s editorial, peer-review, and production resources have already been committed to the manuscript, the authors remain responsible for any fees due. Where an APC has already been paid, it will not be returned or credited toward another submission. Any refund requests arising from circumstances outside the authors’ control, such as a journal error or a failure to publish the accepted article, will be reviewed individually by the Editor-in-Chief and the publisher.
Simultaneous submission. Withdrawing a manuscript in order to submit it to another journal while it is still under consideration by this journal is a violation of publication ethics. Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.
Correction or retraction of published articles. If, after publication, authors discover a significant error or ethical problem in their work, they must notify the Editor-in-Chief immediately. Such cases are handled under the journal’s Corrections and Retractions Policy and in line with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Articles will not be removed from the journal’s website at the request of the authors alone. Retraction or removal is considered only in cases of serious ethical misconduct, plagiarism, data fabrication, legal issues, or major errors that invalidate the findings.
Editorial discretion. The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to make the final decision on any withdrawal request, and to refuse it where it conflicts with the journal’s policies or publication ethics.
Author acknowledgment. By submitting a manuscript to the journal, the authors acknowledge that they have read and agreed to this Article Withdrawal Policy.
